About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to join our organisation on a Permanent contract.

This is a senior role responsible for leading and delivering the marketing strategy across the business, supporting growth, brand development, recruitment, and stakeholder engagement.

You will work closely with the Chief Operations Director and Senior Management Team to drive marketing performance, increase market share, and ensure the company’s mission and vision are reflected across all communications and platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of the company-wide Marketing Strategy in line with organisational goals
  • Produce and manage the Operational Marketing Plan, ensuring all marketing KPIs are achieved
  • Direct and manage the marketing function, ensuring high-quality and responsive activity
  • Strengthen market position through market segmentation, branding, and targeted campaigns
  • Lead liaison and partnership working with schools, colleges, sector employers, agencies, and key stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver marketing events to increase stakeholder awareness and engagement
  • Oversee the development and management of the corporate website, digital marketing, e-communications, and social media strategies
  • Drive the production of marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, and promotional content
  • Promote, protect, and maintain the company brand, including internal brand ownership across staff
  • Lead internal communications strategy to support engagement and brand consistency
  • Support business development through targeted marketing and communications initiatives
  • Direct creative services and the implementation of new marketing technologies
  • Monitor marketing performance and oversee quality systems and intellectual property processes
  • Manage marketing resources effectively, including budgets, people, and suppliers
  • Work collaboratively across directorates to support corporate priorities
  • Undertake additional senior duties as required, including acting on behalf of the Director when required

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role
  • Strong strategic planning and operational delivery skills
  • Experience developing and delivering marketing strategies and KPI-led marketing plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, and corporate communications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with external agencies and professional service providers
  • Commercial awareness and results-driven mindset
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
