Talent & Learning Partner (Remote)
Job Type: Maternity Cover (9 months initially, with potential to extend to 12 months)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Talent & Learning Partner to join a Learning & Development team on a maternity cover basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stakeholders at all levels, identifying learning and talent needs while designing and delivering engaging, high-impact development solutions. You will play a key role in championing talent development, supporting internal mobility and retention, and helping shape learning initiatives aligned to organisational priorities, including leadership capability, safeguarding, residential growth, digital transformation, and systems development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning pathways and development solutions.
- Deliver engaging learning through digital, blended, and live formats.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify current and future learning needs.
- Support internal trainers and quality assure learning programmes.
- Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and skills gap analysis.
- Support career development through coaching, mentoring, and role-specific development pathways.
- Embed learning processes aligned to induction, probation, and career progression.
- Promote the visibility and accessibility of talent development frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with managers to assess capability, identify development needs, and implement best-value learning solutions.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organisational Development role.
- Experience designing and delivering engaging learning programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of talent management, succession planning, and career development.
- Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or development programmes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Confident using Microsoft Teams and digital learning platforms.
