We’re committed to giving every child the best possible start in life. Our service offers health, play, learning, and parenting support to families from pregnancy through to the age of four.

As Service Coordinator, you’ll lead a dynamic Family Support Team across several locations. You’ll be the driving force behind our Parenting Support services—ensuring families receive consistent, high-quality care in a safe and nurturing environment. You’ll also be the lead contact at one site, ensuring excellence in safeguarding, health and safety, property management, and service delivery.


What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of 4–6 staff delivering frontline support to children aged 0–4 and their families
  • Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of Parenting Support services across all sites
  • Act as the Designated Site Lead – upholding safeguarding standards, health & safety, and daily operations
  • Work closely with commissioners, statutory bodies, and local partners to strengthen family-focused outcomes
  • Monitor service quality, lead innovation, and use data to improve performance
  • Chair and participate in multi-agency meetings, ensuring collaborative service planning
  • Oversee budgetary responsibilities and ensure resources are used effectively
  • Coach and mentor team members while applying HR policies and safer recruitment practices

What we’re looking for

  • A professional qualification (e.g., Social Work, Early Years, Family Support or similar)
  • Substantial experience supporting children and families in a multi-agency environment
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding policies, childcare legislation, and parenting support practices
  • Line management experience with a focus on team development and service improvement
  • Confident in managing caseloads and producing clear, data-informed reports
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems
  • Proven ability to build partnerships and deliver services that drive real change
  • A full driving licence and access to a car for travel across service locations
