About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our team in Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals living with mental health conditions. You will work within hospitals, community settings, and specialist units, delivering safe, person-centred care and supporting patients through their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care to patients in a variety of clinical settings
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans
- Administer medication and monitor patients’ responses
- Support individuals in crisis and implement effective de-escalation techniques
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, psychologists, and support staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with professional standards
- Provide guidance and emotional support to patients’ families and carers
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC pin
- Minimum 6 months recent experience in a mental health setting
- Knowledge of a wide range of mental health conditions and interventions
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviours
- Up-to-date training and compliance (or willingness to complete)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
