About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our team in Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals living with mental health conditions. You will work within hospitals, community settings, and specialist units, delivering safe, person-centred care and supporting patients through their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care to patients in a variety of clinical settings
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans
  • Administer medication and monitor patients’ responses
  • Support individuals in crisis and implement effective de-escalation techniques
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, psychologists, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with professional standards
  • Provide guidance and emotional support to patients’ families and carers

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC pin
  • Minimum 6 months recent experience in a mental health setting
  • Knowledge of a wide range of mental health conditions and interventions
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviours
  • Up-to-date training and compliance (or willingness to complete)
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
