Main Responsibilities
- Perform nursing duties within a prison healthcare setting.
- Administer medication and conduct medication rounds.
- Triage inmates in the clinic and respond to their healthcare needs.
- Manage the reception process, including admitting and discharging inmates.
- Provide care during Earlies, Lates, and Nights shifts.
Qualifications & Training
Essential:
- Prison clearance and relevant experience in a similar setting.
- Minimum 6 months of experience.
- Proficiency in medication administration and management.
- Ability to perform clinical triage and respond to healthcare emergencies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability for Earlies, Lates, and Nights shifts.
Desired:
- Previous experience in prison healthcare.
- Familiarity with the reception and admission process within a prison.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a prison or similar secure environment.
- Competency in managing medication rounds and responding to healthcare needs promptly.
- Knowledge of prison healthcare protocols and procedures.
