About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Nurse Endoscopist (Band 8A) to support service delivery within the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a key clinical role designed to help address a service gap in the Trust’s endoscopy provision.

The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-focused diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy procedures, working autonomously within a multidisciplinary environment.

Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Registered Nurse on Part 1 (Adult) of the live NMC Register
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in delivering both diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy
• A recognised qualification to independently perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy
• JETS-registered and JAG-accredited for both gastroscopy and colonoscopy
• Completion of JAG Basic Skills Courses in both gastroscopy and colonoscopy
• V300 Independent Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
