Live-In Carer – Belfast

We are currently recruiting a compassionate and reliable Live-In Carer to support an individual in their own home in Belfast. This role is ideal for an experienced care worker who enjoys providing consistent, person-centred care and building meaningful relationships.

About the Role

As a Live-In Carer, you will live in the service user’s home for agreed periods, providing support with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. You will be an important part of the individual’s routine, offering both practical support and companionship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
• Supporting with meal preparation and encouraging a healthy diet
• Providing companionship and support with social activities
• Assisting with mobility and daily routines
• Carrying out light household tasks, as agreed
• Ensuring a safe, comfortable, and respectful living environment
• Reporting any changes in wellbeing to the care team

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care or support role
• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• A caring, patient, and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
