About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) Nurses to join our team in Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment, providing critical care support to patients with complex needs. You will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care while working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level care to critically ill patients in the ITU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patients’ conditions
• Administer medication, manage ventilators, and support life-saving interventions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants, and allied health professionals
• Support patients’ families with compassion and clear communication

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC pin
• Triage experience
• Minimum 6 months A&E nurse experience
• High dependency experience
• Critical care unit experience
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Up-to-date clinical training and compliance (or willingness to complete)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
