About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Children’s Nurses to join a growing healthcare team in Oxford. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to children and young people across a variety of healthcare settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.

As a Children’s Nurse, you will work closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to children and young people
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and respond appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively
• Support children and their families with emotional and practical care
• Maintain accurate patient records and care plans
• Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants, and other professionals
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
• Promote a safe, caring, and supportive environment for patients

Requirements

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN/RSCN)
• Previous experience working with children in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required
