Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team across various locations in the UK. As a Consultant in Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services. This includes working with a team of specialist nurses, dietitians, and junior doctors to provide exceptional patient care, focusing on gastrointestinal disorders such as IBD, liver diseases, and endoscopic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to patients with gastroenterological conditions.
- Lead outpatient clinics, endoscopic procedures, and inpatient consultations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex cases.
- Perform advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCP and EUS.
- Engage in clinical audits and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- CCT in Gastroenterology or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in delivering gastroenterology care in an NHS or equivalent setting.
- Expertise in therapeutic endoscopy and management of complex GI conditions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
