Nurse Manager – Northern Ireland (HSCNI)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee the clinical operations across Northern Ireland, ensuring the highest standard of care delivery, compliance, and staff support. This role involves staying ahead of clinical changes within the Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI), overseeing proper procedures, and ensuring that all nursing staff are fully supported and equipped to provide excellent care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective leadership on all matters related to clinical excellence, governance, training, and competency development.
• Ensure compliance with NMC guidelines and maintain continued NMC registration for all clinical staff.
• Oversee clinical operations and handle related matters, including sickness, disciplinary management, and support.
• Collaborate with resourcing, compliance teams, and other stakeholders to improve the quality of care and provide support to clients, managers, and staff.
• Stay ahead of the curve with clinical changes within the HSCNI, ensuring all practices and policies reflect the latest standards.
• Promote safe working practices at all times and uphold the highest levels of professionalism, discretion, and client confidentiality.
• Effectively manage your workload, prioritising tasks and maintaining clear, accurate communication and documentation.
• Attend team meetings and represent the organisation at external meetings as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Registered Nurse (NMC registration required).
• Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a clinical team.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while managing a geographically diverse team.
