A&E Nurses (Northern Ireland)

Your responsibilities will include assessing, triaging, and prioritising patients, administering medications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining a commitment to patient safety. This role comes with a fantastic pay rate: Standard Rate: £34 per hour ,Night Shift Rate: £40 per hour ,Sunday and Bank Holiday Rate: £46 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the Accident & Emergency department.
• Assess, triage, and prioritise patients based on the severity of their condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by medical staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and responses to interventions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Minimum of 6 months of NHS experience (ideally working in an A&E setting).
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• EPP Clearence
• ILS PLS training top of all the mandatory trainings
• DBS
• Valid NI number
• Excellent triage and assessment skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.
