Key Responsibilities for the Podiatrist Role:

  • Provide comprehensive podiatry services, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of foot and lower limb disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with chronic foot conditions, injuries, or diabetes-related complications.
  • Perform biomechanical assessments and advise on proper footwear, orthotics, and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide well-rounded patient care.
  • Educate patients on how to maintain foot health and prevent future issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Podiatry from a recognized institution.
  • HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
  • Experience in managing musculoskeletal, diabetic foot care, and biomechanics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with colleagues.
